    CAAD 8 means that this is the 8th generation of the Cannondale Advanced Aluminium Design road frame. And how it has evolved over the past 25 years!

    The Hourglass seatstays help damp bad vibes. The chainstays are asymmetrical to reinforce the drivetrain side and optimise power transfer. The head tube is thicker at the top and bottom for extra strength and precise headset installation, thinner in the middle to save grams.
