Aluminium spacers allow you to fine-tune the height of an Aheadstem.
- Fits 1 1/8"-diameter unthreaded fork steerers.
- If you're fitting a new fork, fit sufficient spacers to allow you to position your bars at the most comfortable height.
- If you want the stem lower, cut the fork steerer and use appropriately smaller or fewer spacers.
- Note: once the fork steerer is cut, there is no going back. The whole of the Aheadstem must be clamped to the steerer, so you can't fit bigger spacers to a fork that's already cut to size, say on a new bike.
