Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op is one of the UK's leading independent bicycle retailers.
We believe we're no ordinary bike shop. We see ourselves as innovative and a bit different - and we're very proud of the fact that we are a successful workers co-operative.
We currently operate eight shops in Scotland and the North of England; Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. Our head office, warehouse and distribution centre are based on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Sales Assistant/Bicycle Customiser
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Starting salary from £12,128 per annum
This is an excellent opportunity in our Online team for someone with excellent customer service skills, and a thorough knowledge of bikes.
You will be assisting customers by telephone and email on a daily basis with all sales and enquiries, and following up with order processing and dispatch. You will also be responsible for preparing customers’ bikes for dispatch – this will involve customisation, and the fitting of accessories and components to the required standard.
You must have a proven background in bicycle maintenance/repairs and be confident at working on all types of bikes. You must also be a real team player, flexible and approachable with great communication skills.
Sales experience would be desirable, however full training will be provided.
