Maintain It and Retain It - An easy guide to looking after your bike

Pick Up a Free Cycling Top at our Newcastle Shop

If you rode this year's Great North Bike Ride, you will have been delighted by the cycling jersey you will have received at the end. GNBR organiser, Lynn Lucas, has a few dozen tops left over from this year's GNBR and has had a brilliant idea to dispose of them.

Simply visit our Newcastle shop, request one of these tops and we will give you one. All we ask for in return is that you make a donation in the shop's Chris Lucas Trust collection tin. Given the quality of the cycling top on offer, could we suggest that your donation is silent (i.e. it should be paper folding money).

  Learn Trail Building

Want to lend a hand creating a mountain bike trail park at South Queensferry, Edinburgh? The Vat Run is looking for volunteers every second Sunday from 14 October to 23 December. Some of these workshops will be led by Pete Laing, Glentress's principle trail builder. What a golden opportunity to learn from the best.
