Sidi Products

Named after a quirky contraction of company founder, Dino Signori's, name, Sidi have been the shoemaker of choice of a host of cycling legends over more than 50 years. We have Sidi to thank for many innovations we now take for granted. In 1983, Sidi was the first shoemaker to ditch the laces and introduce Velcro straps to cycling shoes - an innovation that was immediately proven by that year's Sidi-shod Tour winner, Laurent Fignon. Five years later, Sidi improved on this design by securing the shoe's top strap with their patented rotor buckle in 1988. Sidi cycling shoes have been synonymous with comfort from the start. It has been reported that Miguel Indurain, who dominated the Tour in the early '90s, was offered one billion Lire to switch his footwear allegiance to a large USA shoe company, famed for its swoosh. Big Mig couldn't by swayed and stuck with Sidi - as do Alberto Contador, Peter Sagan and Chris Froome to this day.
